Hi! what are your favourite subjects? What subjects did you really hate? I always hated maths and physics and chemistry, but I liked languages and ethics for example. How about you?

English (except AP which I hate) History and Government, French, Bio, religion, and chorus. I hated all math, chemistry, and Earth Science. Way too many graphs and diagrams in that last one.

I think history is really boring, sorry to say that.

Post 10 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Thursday, 24-Mar-2005 13:36:34

Hmmm I suppose the subject you were covering would play a large part in that..In college my partner studied the Russian revolution and she found it fascinating

Post 12 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Tuesday, 12-Apr-2005 10:25:32

Hm, really interesting that nearly eeveryone hates maths!! I liked Maths when I was at primary school, I even had really good marks, but later I just - oh well, let's not talk about it.

Post 13 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Tuesday, 12-Apr-2005 10:40:44

I was absolutely useless at maths when I was at school. in fact, I used to do some of the other kids' english esays for them in exchange for them doing my maths homework. my least favourite subject was history, (was rubbish at it) and my favourite was physiology, and for my final exam question, the question I had to answer was ... describe the microscopic construction of the male reproductive system ..

Post 18 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Monday, 18-Apr-2005 3:12:25

Psychology? Do you have to do that in school? Creative writing is great, too. I love it, and I am even good at it when I have to write in English.

Mine are English, and foreign languages, although my school only offers Spanish and French, and they're tring to lower it to just Spanish. now, I can even stand some science, but I absolutely hate math! I suck at it!!!! Completely rubbish, and impractical some of it is.

Post 21 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Tuesday, 05-Jul-2005 2:45:58

Well I'm extremely in to the whole English thing, but really any subject is cool with me. I often get frustrated with geometry, however, because it's very difficult to do some of that, especially when the tactle books aren't very...well...tactle. I love band class, absolutely adore physics, and am learning to like chemistry. I have always been proud to learn Spanish as well. History is okay, but there are times when I wonder if I'm ever going to use the knowledge but oh well, I might as well learn it and enjoy it if I'm going to be forced to take the cource. I also really enjoyed my INQUIRY class. If any of you really care what that was about, ask me later because it will take me forever to explain, as I tend to take a while to explain things.

Sweet_Mercedes I agree with you on foreign languages. Great.

Post 23 by NarnaNeana (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 02-Sep-2006 18:22:00

You'll think me strange but I loved maths until it got t the geometry stuff. Even now I'm at University I still love Maths - perhaps one of the main reasons I took up an accountancy degree. I don't like the advanced maths like linear programming though, which is needed for some of the management accounting stuff we do.

As for subjects I hate, I used to hate history, found it boring really. And I use to hate chemistry because my classmates threw matches accross the science lab and played about with the bunsen burners, and the explosions made me jump when the teacher demonstrated some of the more volatile experiments!

Post 24 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 02-Sep-2006 20:05:39

My favorite subjects are literature (mainly the reading the stories, but the essays we have to write can be confusing at times, so I only like that part sometimes). I also like science and health-related subjects (wich I will inlude Psychology in). In school, I liked these same subjects as well as my art and PE classes (at least those where I wasn't just made to sit and do nothing anyway *smile*), and I also liked all the other subjects as long as they had something in Braille or tape that seemed interesting to read, which they always did. I just loved the fact of immediately getting to read something. or having something physically to do *smile* In college, as I mentioned, English/literature, science (well so far it's just been Biology), and the health-related classes have been my favorites so far, but it's been because of the subjects themselves. I also liked Spanish, both in school and in college. The other ones, I like/liked also, but I would get tired of scanning at times and/or they would just be difficult to understand. As for which one I hate, I can't say I hate this, but math is the hardest one for me. I'll work on it, but most of the times I don't understand it and/or when I do learn it, I end up forgetting it later when I need to know it. However, I think with the MathWindow, which I mentioned in the "hardest subject in school?" topic, as well as them if and when my school gets the book in Braille, I'll at least dislike it less because that'll makes things a little easier for me in that one.

I always liked anything to do with creative writing and reading good books. I also liked psychology related courses. And oh yeah, American history.

I love history. My teacher make the work in to a game. And math is a good onw for me. Math runs in my family. I hate writing essays, but I still do it.

Post 27 by Classicrock (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 13-Dec-2006 21:08:55

Well I guess I'm a brown-noser. My favorites in school were music, creative writing, French, economics, algebra, statistics, and biology. Heheheh. I never did like geometry or chem, though.

Post 28 by Siriusly Severus (The ESTJ 1w9 3w4 6w7 The Taskmaste) on Thursday, 15-Jan-2009 21:59:36

I love English, and History. I would love history more if they didn’t speak of Aristotle and Socrates like big jerks who needs to keep there mouth shut.

I hate P.e. Great…! I have to run tomorrow.

Post 29 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Friday, 16-Jan-2009 16:41:12

I liked introductory psychology, but in high school, I'd have to say orchestra was my favorite class. History ... God, help me, that was terrible.
